Matt Mullins is an American race car and stunt driver. He has more than 25 years of experience as a stunt and precision driver for Film and TV. He is a featured stunt driver in the movie “Gran Turismo”. Other film credits include “Talladega Nights”, “Herbie: Fully Loaded”, “Ford vs Ferrari”, the BMW Film: “The Escape”, and more.

Accomplishments
In 2017 Matt was part of two Guinness World Records. One for the longest continuous drift and one for the longest tandem drift. Matt developed the idea of car-to-car refueling while drifting and served as stunt coordinator and driver of the refuel car for the longest continuous drift in 8 hours. He also partnered with Johan for the tandem drift record in a BMW M5.
GUINNESS WORLD RECORD -LONGEST TANDEM DRIFT
In 2023 Matt attempted a world record at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb in the BMW XM Label – a 738 hp SUV. After a dramatic crash on race day, he returned three months later to set a time that eclipsed the current production SUV race day record, and set a hybrid SUV world record time of 10:46.60 seconds.

Matt Mullins is the Chief Driving Instructor for BMW in the United States and has been with the BMW Performance Driving Schools since 2001.
With more than 30 years of experience instructing, he has been a coach and instructor for thousands of students including movie stars, sports celebrities, NASCAR drivers, and US Special Forces and Secret Service agents.
